Casa Nanna's Daycare Story
Casa Nanna was once known as Nana's House. Our Daycare provides the tools and support that your little ones need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of the children in our care. Casa Nanna staff provide stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities for each child so they can develop to their full potential.

Lorena Aranda, Executive Program Director
30 years ago, Lorena began working as a nanny in the Oakland and Berkeley hills and studied child development classes in Merritt College. Following those experiences, she decided to found Nana's House in 2008, (later, Casa Nanna) so she could apply her skills to very young children and help them get a great start in life. Her idea was to provide a Spanish language immersion environment where children could learn empathy for others as well as a second language, gaining the foundation for lifelong language fluency.
Lorena has been creating community at the Casa since 2008, serving an average of 10 children at a time so she can provide the nurturing and variety of experience that young minds requires.
